Trick-or-treaters across Michigan are set to take off running on Friday, Oct. 31, collecting candy for Halloween, but weather forecasts show a chance of rain across portions of the state.
On Halloween, temperatures in the Lower Peninsula are expected to range in the upper 40s to 50s, with lows in the 30s to 40s at night. Detroit is forecast to see the warmest high of 55 degrees on Halloween.
" Rain showers clip far eastern areas today (Oct. 29) and this evening, mainly along a line from Monroe to Detroit to Port Huron," posted the National Weather Service in Detroit on X on Oct. 30. "Breezy and cool for Friday (Oct. 31), with slightly below normal temperatures over the weekend."
