Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is the hottest name in college football as coaching rumors abound with the openings at both Florida and LSU.

With his name seemingly at the top of every coaching search, ESPN's Pete Thamel suggested it's difficult to imagine Kiffin coaching at Ole Miss in 2026.

“Right now, it’s hard to imagine Lane Kiffin coaching at Ole Miss next year,” Thamel said. “The opportunity at either LSU or Florida is too big… It’s going to be a fascinating race here for Lane Kiffin and to see how he handles it with a playoff team.”

Kiffin, though, appears to be preaching patience. With four weeks left in the Rebels' regular season, the head coach took to social media with a subtle message as the coaching rumors grow louder with each passing day.
