Two men have been arrested weeks after a shooting in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood left a victim with "life-altering" injuries.

Shawn Walker, 24, and Devante Stinson, 23, both of Boston, were taken into custody by the youth violence strike force and are facing numerous charges in connection to the shooting that occurred on Oct. 8 in the area of 258 Dudley Street, according to police, who praised detectives for their "phenomenal" work on this case.

Police say Walker was arrested around 3:21 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 32 Seaver Street, while Stinson was apprehended Thursday around 10:01 a.m. in the area of 23 Levant Street in Dorchester.
