A woman in Jamaica is opening up about surviving Hurricane Melissa .
Melissa made landfall near New Hope on Tuesday, Oct. 28, as a Category 5 storm with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph. Although details about its path of destruction are continuing to emerge, at least 34 people , including 10 children, across the Caribbean have died.
