Shillong, Oct 30: Umkiang Police Patrol Party (PPP) conducted a joint patrolling exercise with a BSF team along the Indo-Bangladesh Border area to ensure border security and strengthen coordination.

Headman of Kuliang village and Village Defence Party (VDP) members participated in the exercise.

The team interacted with local residents to promote Police-Public cooperation to encourage villagers to remain vigilant, share information with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and security.

The exercise aimed to strengthen border security and foster cooperation between law enforcement agencies and local communities.
