West Lothian police have issued an urgent appeal after a home was broken into in Uphall.
The incident occurred between 6.40pm and 9pm on Wednesday, October 29 at a property in the East Main Street area.
Detectives are now asking anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.
While it's not currently known if anything was stolen from the home, the authorities do know that entry was gained at the back of the property and damage was caused inside.
Detective Constable Graeme Comrie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident, which was very upsetting for the occupant.
