WSDOT responds to claims it ignored years of repairs to Fairfax Bridge, leading to closure

It's been six months since the Fairfax Bridge along State Route 165 closed after being deemed too unsafe by WSDOT -- now a local elected leader is calling on the department to answer claims that they knowingly put off much-needed maintenance for the bridge for two decades, leading to its closure.
