One person was injured after a crash.

It happened Tuesday morning around 4 a.m., at milepost 259, on interstate 80, just outside Elk Mountain.

A semi-truck, which was hauling potatoes, traveled eastbound when it crossed the median and crashed into the Medicine Bow River.

A female passenger was found in the truck.

She was taken to a hospital in Colorado.

The driver, identified as Matthew Berggren, of Idaho was arrested for DUI.

The semi-truck and trailer were both pulled from the river.

Berggren is now out on bond after an initial hearing.
