Jets safety Andre Cisco suffered a pectoral tear in Sunday’s win over the Bengals and is out indefinitely, according to a league source.

Cisco, who was raised in Valley Stream and went to St. Anthony's High School for two years, has been a big piece of the Jets’ secondary this season.

He’s started every game and is second on the Jets in defensive snaps played (499) and tackles (41). Cisco also has one pass defended and a fumble recovery – the Jets’ lone takeaway this season.

Tony Adams likely will slide back into a starting role when the Jets return from their bye week and play the Browns on Nov. 9. Adams started four games at safety but was replaced by rookie Malachi Moore three games ago.
