The Siptu trade union have hit back at the FAI over their plans for redundancies at the association which would see a quarter of those on the FAI payroll lose their jobs. The union, which represents a cohort of FAI staff, claim that the association’s “transformation” plan is being used to get rid of key football staff while saving the positions of what the union claim are “suits”.
