CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The City of Cincinnati is going into the winter with upgrades to its snowplow fleet.
The enhancements come after the January snowstorm left many residents stranded in their homes, up to a week for some.
Cincinnati leaders say they acknowledge the challenges road crews faced during the winter storm at the start of 2025.
“Last year was not good enough, and both the administration, the council, and I agree on that, and we have made significant investments in order to make sure that we improve our services to the extent that we get another historic snowfall,” Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval. “We’ll be ready.”
In January, a monster winter storm dumped nearly a foot of snow on the Tri-State area, leaving cities, townships and counties scrambling to meet the demand for snow
