Former Knicks fan favorite to serve as analyst for MSG broadcasts
A former New York Knicks fan favorite will be heard on MSG broadcasts in the near future, as Steve Novak has signed on to be an analyst on the network, per Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.
Novak will serve as current analyst Clyde Frazier’s backup for MSG broadcasts of Knicks games. At 80 years old, Frazier has already slowed down his rate of broadcasting the team’s road games, though he has no plans to retire or stop doing the team’s home games at Madison Square Garden.
Novak played 11 seasons in the NBA and for nine different teams, most notably with the Knicks from 2011-2013. He shot 44.5 percent from three-point range during his time with the Knicks, exhilarating fans with his shooting prow
