A man who is the prime suspect in a Seattle homicide was mistakenly released from a California jail last week and remains at large, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities are now searching for the 20-year-old following what officials are calling an erroneous release from custody.

Isaiah Jamon Andrews, of Kent, Washington, was mistakenly released from the Martinez Detention Facility on October 22, just two days after appearing in court for an extradition hearing. Andrews was supposed to be held in custody without bail as he awaited transfer to King County Jail in Seattle to face homicide charges.
