Dictionary.com has announced that its 2025 Word of the Year is the viral phrase "6-7"
The phrase skyrocketed in popularity over the summer, and the surge of searches for it does not appear to be slowing down

Dictionary.com has revealed its word — or rather, numbers — of the year for 2025.
The website announced on Tuesday, Oct. 28, that its official Word of the Year is 6-7 , a word derived from the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla that features the recurring lyric, “6-7.”
