Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg did a thing Wednesday night, a cool thing, because he grew up watching the NBA and seeing what those guys do – learning to copy them when they do cool things. So that was Cooper Flagg, generational talent and 6-9 giant of a guard, giving the “too small” sign to Indiana Pacers guard Mac McClung.
It should be noted here that Mac McClung is not a generational talent, but the last player off the bench of an 0-4 Pacers team featuring the thinnest roster in the NBA – an emergency signee with 76 career NBA minutes in parts of five seasons. It should also be noted here that Mac McClung is not a 6-9 giant of a guard.
