BATES COUNTY, Mo - A warrant has been issued for a Fate, Texas man for his alleged involvement in a Bates County burglary in August.
According to a probable cause statement, Bates County Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Amsterdam regarding a report of trespassing. Deputies learned that the property owner had arrived at the residence and seen 47-year-old Collin Ryan Vaughn inside. He then saw Vaughn flee the residence with multiple items.
The investigation found that the wiring to the security system had been cut and the front door had been forced open. Items stolen included multiple firearms, a computer with backpack, social security cards, birth certificates, and other personal items belonging to the property owner.
