LEON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - First responders from all over Leon County responded to structure fires in Hilltop Lakes and Marquez overnight.

The first call went out at 11:53 p.m. Hilltop Fire received a call about a structure fire on Springview Lane.

Normangee Fire, Normangee Police, Hilltop EMS, Leon County Sheriff’s Office, and Office of Emergency Management responded.

Leon County Emergency Management reported the home that caught fire was occupied by two adults and six young children. However, everyone got out, and there were no injuries or deaths.

Leon County Emergency Management said that the home looks to be a total loss, and the American Red Cross is helping those impacted by the fire.
