Those concerned a proposed expansion of Highway 401 between Gananoque and Mallorytown could further endanger wildlife made their voices known at a public-input session held at the community building on Jessie Street in Lansdowne on Oct. 23.

Presented by AECOM, the design firm involved with the project, the session included 30 slides and mounted posters on tripods, to allow people to see what the current proposal is being based on.
