CHARLOTTE — For Bryce Young , watching last week was hard, but he stayed engaged in a number of ways.
For Andy Dalton , not even what he described as a broken thumb was going to keep him off the field.
The top of the quarterback depth chart talked to reporters Thursday, and both said they felt great, from a physical standpoint.
Young, who missed last week's loss to the Bills due to an ankle injury, clarified that he does not have a medical degree; thus, he would defer to the staff on hand who do. But it was clear from listening to him that he's eager to get back.
