THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - Food bank volunteers in Thomasville are preparing for even more families in need of help with meals.
At the Thomas County Food Bank and Outreach Center, leaders report seeing an influx of new clients in the past month, with an increase of about 20%. The food bank said November and December are already busy months.
Jerilyn Falconer with the Thomas County Food Bank and Outreach Center said they have been getting many phone calls.

“Our phone has rung almost non-stop when we are here. People are concerned, but they are also willing to help they are trying to find out where to make monetary donations and when to bring food donations,” Falconer said.
