What started as a dreary and blustery day ends with abundant sunshine and a late-day boost in temperatures. The upper-level low responsible for the rain and clouds continued to most east throughout the day. Our eastern counties were stuck under clouds most of the day. This afternoon, a 15° spread in temperatures existed across the region.

Now that the upper-level low is on the go, we can look ahead to Halloween! It will be a pretty seasonable day with an eerie breeze. It won't be as warm as last year but NOT as chilly or snow-filled as the holiday two years ago. All in all, not too shabby for Trick or Treating in central Indiana!

Another upper-level trough passes in this weekend. It will drop temperatures a touch both Saturday and Sunday. The normal high temperature is 58° for November 1
