Police have made an arrest after a deadly shooting in College Hill last year.

According to the Cincinnati Police Department, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a car. The victim died at the scene of the shooting.

Police identified the victim as Bennie Byrd, 40.

Shortly after the shooting, dispatchers reported a white Ford SUV was seen leaving southbound from the area and an all-county alert was issued for the car.

On Thursday, police arrested Deandre Sherman, 34, one year after the shooting. He has been charged with murder.
