LAKELAND, Fla. — Students at Lakeland High School are getting a head start in pursuing a career in education thanks to a partnership with Florida Southern College . It is creating a pathway for students to earn credits while in high school.

What You Need To Know • Florida Southern College and Lakeland High School partner to launch "Educator Academy" • The academy is made up of 55 high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in education • The academy is four years long and will help students transfer to FSC with five college course credits.
