LANE COUNTY, Ore. - Lane Regional Air Protection Agency announced that the fall outdoor burning season for Eugene, Springfield, and Oakridge will end on Friday at 4 p.m.

Residents in these areas must complete their yard debris burning by this deadline. According to the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA), burning after Oct. 31 will be prohibited until the spring burning season opens in March for qualified residents. Violations can lead to fines ranging from $50 to $2,500 or more. Residents in the rest of Lane County can still burn outdoors but must check LRAPA’s daily outdoor burning advisory.
