EBENSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — A 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing his own mother and a family friend to death in their Carrolltown home was back in court.
Judah Courtney appeared Thursday for his first court appearance since his arrest for a preliminary hearing.
More details about the murder were brought up in court, including how Courtney allegedly told police he washed the blood off the knives used in the stabbing and threw them out. He allegedly also told police he threw out the clothes he was wearing at the time of the murder.
Police also testified to the murder scene, saying it was clear there was a struggle and that the women tried to defend themselves.
