GREENVILLE, S.C. —

A wanted man has been arrested after hitting a patrol car near a pawn shop in Greenville, South Carolina, on Thursday afternoon.

The Greenville Police Department said officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on the suspect when he tried to escape and hit a patrol car at the corner of Shaw Street and Poinsett Highway. The suspect was arrested after a foot chase.

Police have not released the man's name or the charges he faces at this time.
