FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After a few rain showers over the last 24 hours, models are trending drier throughout the day tomorrow which means conditions look great for Halloween tomorrow. We still are expecting gusty winds, but besides that, temperatures stay between the low to mid 50s and we could see some sun as well.
Drought conditions also were updated today. Extreme drought conditions expanded into Jay and Blackford Counties to no surprise with how dry we have been. Fort Wayne so far this year is 13 inches below average on precipitation, that is the second driest stretch (20.82″ of rain from January 1st through October 29th) with the only year drier being 1941 (20.62″).
