DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — No students were hurt Thursday afternoon after a crash involving two school buses, according to Decatur Public Schools.
The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. on West Grand and North Oakland Avenue.
Decatur Public Schools told WAND News that an Alltown school bus carrying seven students and a bus carrying students from the Macon-Piatt Regional Office of Education were involved in the crash.
DPS said none of the students on board the buses needed medical assistance.
When WAND News arrived at the scene, it appeared that a pickup truck and a sedan were also involved in the crash. The sedan's front end smashed in and the side air bags deployed.
We don't know if anyone else was hurt and are working to find out more.
