As budgets continue to tighten, elected officials around Ohio are working to find ways to help relieve property taxes.

According to the Hamilton County Commission, some sweeping property tax exemptions have hidden costs that would impact school districts, several county services, parks, and other areas. Advertisement

On Thursday, the conversation arose during a Hamilton County Commission meeting.

School leaders from around the country spoke out on the negative impact it would have on their districts.
