Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) today issued a letter, notifying its affiliated and constituent colleges that it will refund the Rs 30,000 late fee charged from students seeking admission during the extended admission deadline till October 30. Following a Supreme Court order, Punjabi University, Patiala; Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar; and Panjab University, Chandigarh, extended the last date for admissions to October 30 for students from the flood-affected areas. All three universities, complying with the SC order, extended the admission deadline but were allowed to levy late fee from the students.

As per the letter, issued by the Assistant Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, any student, who has been charged late fee between the extended admission deadline till October 30
