SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - If you get insurance through the Marketplace, also known as Obamacare, enrollment starts Saturday.
Experts tell On Your Side that 65 plans are offered to people in the Ozarks.
Across the board, plans cost more, and with those enhanced tax credits expiring, many will experience sticker shock.
The enhanced tax credits are set to expire unless Congress acts. These are for people who make 400 percent above the poverty level. For example, a couple who made about $85,000 last year saved about $700 a month in credits. As of right now, that won’t happen in 2026.
“I can see some people will not renew their policies when they see what the prices are going to be,” said Treva Warrick with SeniorAge.
