The Haryana Police have booked three officials of the Rohtak-based Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) after two woman sanitation workers claimed that they were forced to take photographs of their private parts and sanitary pads to prove that they were menstruating, a police officer Thursday said. The University, on its part, suspended two sanitation supervisors and has ordered an internal probe into the incident.

The FIR was registered Wednesday against sanitation supervisors Vitender and Vinod Hooda and assistant registrar Shyam Sunder at PGIMS police station, SHO Roshan Lal said.
