Election Day is drawing closer in Boston and, for many, the focus is on District 7's city council race.
Said Ahmed and Miniard Culpepper are seeking to fill the void left by Tania Fernandes Anderson, who was is serving a yearlong sentence on federal corruption charges .

In a debate-style conversation, Ahmed and Culpepper, who advanced from the preliminary election in September , each weighed in on the controversy and how they would bring credibility back to the role if elected.
"When you show the community how you are transparent, then folks will trust you," Ahmed said.
