MADISON (WKOW) -- An event benefitting women's cancer research and care at UW Health's Carbone Cancer Center is coming up Friday, November 14.

Shenanigans with Friends , hosted by Friends of UW Health, is a fashion show with a purpose, spotlighting survivor stories, celebrating resilience, and funding research that save lives.

The event includes a strolling dinner, live and silent auctions, raffle, volunteer “side kicks” and much more.

Navreet Kamal, chair and vice president of Friends of UW Health, and Lily Johnson, advancement manager with the UW Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology joined 27 News to talk about the event and the vital research it funds, right here in our community.
