Jurors Thursday were unable to determine whether a 29-year-old man is guilty of murder after a confrontation over a man throwing a computer through a beauty parlor window ended with two homicides.
Shan L. Ford Jr. of Fort Wayne was found not guilty of felony murder and attempted robbery. Felony murder means the crime was accompanied by other felonies.
Jurors deliberated for more than six hours before determining they couldn't agree on a verdict for murder. Chief Deputy Prosecutor Tom Chaille said a hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday to schedule another trial for the murder charge that resulted in a hung jury.
He and Quenecia L. Gaylor, 38, were arrested on murder-related charges after two victims died in a shooting on Hamilton Avenue June 26. Gaylor has received the same charges,
