Rep. Barbara Ehardt, R-Idaho Falls, spoke about a recent trip she made to Israel during a Stand Up for Idaho event in Idaho Falls on Wednesday. The trip, paid for entirely by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was called the 50 States, One Israel conference.
According to its website, Stand Up for Idaho is a nonpartisan, nondenominational nonprofit advocating “for the common good, well-being, and civic betterment for Idaho citizens, and for the rights and liberties guaranteed Idaho citizens by the Constitution.” Stand Up for Idaho town halls customarily start with a prayer.
