In Jor-El’s own words, “Show no mercy” to its inhabitants. This revelation shook Clark, who believed his parents to be noble. Some fans believe Lex Luthor messed with the recorded message his parents left him. But not only did Mister Terrific debunk that theory, Gunn shot it down in real life, too.
