MINOT, ND (KXNET) — During a special meeting today, the Minot City Council discussed the future of a family homeless shelter in the community. The city council met earlier today to discuss the future of the Broadway Circle Complex.
During the meeting, council members approved agreements with Pathfinder Services of North Dakota to lease, operate, and maintain the new complex.
This three-unit commercial building serves as a family homeless shelter, and a 17-unit apartment building for low- to moderate-income households.
Councilmember Mike Blessum said the path to this point has been bumpy, but he feels confident in where Pathfinder will be heading with the complex.
