Rapist fireman said it was 'worth the trip' to 'unreported rape capital of Europe'

A firefighter found guilty of rape sickeningly said it was "worth a trip" to Stockholm because it’s the "most unreported rape capital of Europe". ‌

Terence Crosbie, 39, was convicted last week of raping a 29-year-old woman during St Patrick's Day celebrations in March 2024, following a five-day trial at Suffolk Superior Court in Boston. The Irishman faces up to 20 years in prison when sentenced today. ‌

It has since emerged that Crosbie - writing under the now-deleted X handle “DubKid86” - had previously tweeted: "6ft blondes & most unreported rape capital of Europe sure even if it’s Vigo vs Lyon be worth a trip." Prosecutors applied to have the vile tweet admitted as evidence, but the motion was denied, meaning the jury never heard it, the Irish Mirror reports.
