Police have charged two men on back-to-back days with having handguns in their luggage at a Pennsylvania airport.
On Wednesday, TSA officers at Pittsburgh International Airport found a handgun in Latrobe resident John Frye’s carry-on bag while he was going through the main security checkpoint.
Allegheny County police said they were notified and determined that Frye, 51, did not have a concealed carry permit.
At about 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, TSA officers at the airport’s main security checkpoint found a handgun in a passenger’s backpack.
Police determined that Robert Browning, a 32-year-old West Virginia resident, also did not have a concealed carry permit.
Each man is charged with a single misdemeanor count of carrying a firearm without a license.
