PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — A Pflugerville High School student was taken into custody after reportedly bringing a gun onto a school bus Thursday morning.

According to Pflugerville ISD officials in a letter to sent to families, a student anonymously reported to the school's administrators that another student brought a gun on school bus and showed it to other students. Administrators contacted Pflugerville ISD Police who responded and investigated the incident once the bus made its way to campus.

Officials said officers were able to locate the suspected student and a gun was found to be in their possession.

The student was taken into custody by Pflugerville ISD Police before the school day started.
