DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - Court documents reveal new details about a Dubuque shooting incident that left a juvenile charged with attempted murder .
At approximately 9:58 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the alley between White and Jackson Street in Dubuque.
According to court documents, 17-year-old Ahamad Atkins Jr. and another individual were fighting with an 18-year-old when surveillance video captured Atkins Jr. pulling out a handgun from his waistband.
Police say Atkins Jr. shot at the 18-year-old but missed, hitting an uninvolved vehicle instead.
Traffic cameras showed Atkins Jr. and the other individual leaving the scene while the 18-year-old ran to the 1700 block of Jackson Street. The two individuals were picked up and driven to Wisconsin, according to
