A CityNews poll conducted before the series began found that 57 per cent of Calgarians planned to participate in Halloween festivities, while Edmonton topped the charts with 63 per cent of residents saying they’d be out collecting candy.

Despite the baseball buzz, it seems many Albertans are determined to keep Halloween alive. Some families are opting for a hybrid approach.
