Jurors could be asked to consider a "guilty except insane" defense when a young man goes on trial next year for the alleged killings of his father and stepmother in a Sonoita home in October 2023, according to court records.
Austin William Scheid is charged with two counts of premeditated murder in connection with the deaths of Gregory H. Scheid and Jaime Lee Scheid. One count of burglary is also included in the charges against Scheid. ×
