MAPLETON — Wineries challenging Peninsula Township’s zoning rules are offering to settle, if the township makes some key zoning changes.

Plaintiffs Wineries of the Old Mission Peninsula and 11 wineries are looking for clarity from the township on how they operate their businesses, according to a release from the trade group. They’re looking for changes consistent with rulings from a federal judge in a case that turned five years old on Oct. 21, as well as state laws such as the Right to Farm Act.
