Universal Music Group (UMG) reported solid growth across all three business units on Thursday (Oct. 30), with revenue rising 10.2% in constant currency to 3.02 billion euros ($3.53 billion). Early shipments of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, which had an Oct. 3 street date, helped UMG’s physical sales jump 23% year over year. But the quarter was dominated by subscription gains and strong publishing results.
