Woman Killed After Tree Falls On Car In Philadelphia: Officials

A woman was killed after a tree fell on her vehicle in Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, police said.

The crash happened along the 3700 block of West School House Lane when a 2016 silver Ford Mustang traveling westbound was struck by a falling tree at 11:53 a.m., according to police.

Philadelphia Fire Department medics responded to the scene, where the 44-year-old driver was pronounced dead at 12:23 p.m.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, and the Crash Investigation Division is handling the case.
