As part of the 53rd APP Raising Day, Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) Mayor Tame Phassang kicked off the sports event at the State capital, Itanagar on Thursday. Speaking about the significance of sports, the Mayor said that “games and sports are part of life and it helps one to stay fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind.” He also lauded the State police personnel for their efforts in prevailing peace in Arunachal. On the occasion, a host of achievers from Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) who brought laurels to the State from various parts of the country were felicitated.
