A JetBlue flight headed to Newark, New Jersey, was diverted to Tampa, Florida, last minute in an emergency landing maneuvre on Thursday (US time). According to the airline’s statement, the sudden change in the plane’s journey was attributed to an unexpected drop in altitude.

As per an ABC News report, pilots shared with air traffic controllers that at least 3 passengers had been injured with possible lacerations. “We’ve got at least three people injured. It seems like maybe a laceration in the head,” highlighted air traffic audio from a radio call captured by LiveATC.net.
