Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) hit the campaign trail with former Rep. Abigail Spanberger in the final days of the gubernatorial race against Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears to urge Latino voters to back Spanberger at the ballot.
At a “Latinos for Spanberger” event on Thursday afternoon, hosted at Los Tios Grill, Gallego, a rising star in the Democratic Party, championed Spanberger’s support for affordable housing, education, and small businesses — key issues that Democrats are hoping will help the party rebuild after a disastrous 2024 election cycle.
